Electric charge is the physical property of matter that carried by some subatomic particle that controlled how the particles are affected by an electric or magnetic field. Electric charges, which can be positive or    negative, in that case same charges repeal each and opposite charges attract each other.


  N      Negative charge is carried by electrons.  

·            Positive charge is carried by the protons in the nuclei of atoms.

  If there are more electrons that in a piece of matter, it will negative charge or there are less it will have positive charge, and there are equal it will neutral.

As like electrons have electric field to interact any positive charge surround field and that interaction of charge with an electromagnetic field is the source of the electromagnetic that non as (e.m.f).
